At StrikeOne, we are committed to protecting the privacy of our users, especially youth athletes and their families. This Privacy Policy describes how the StrikeOne mobile application (“the App”) collects, uses, stores, and shares personal information in connection with youth baseball game statistics, player profiles, and team scoring. Please read this policy carefully before using the App.
By using StrikeOne, you agree to the practices described in this policy. If you do not agree, please discontinue use of the App and contact us to request removal of any associated data.
1. Information We Collect
We collect the following categories of information to operate and improve the StrikeOne platform:
Player and Team Data:

2. How We Use Your Information

To display player profiles, game statistics, and season overviews to coaches and authorized parents

We do not use player data for advertising, marketing, or any commercial purpose unrelated to the core functionality of the App.
3. Children’s Privacy (COPPA Compliance)
StrikeOne is intended for use by youth athletes, their parents, and coaches. We take our obligations under the Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) seriously.

We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children under the age of 13 without verifiable parental consent.

Player profiles are created and managed by coaches or parents, not by the children themselves.

Parents may request to review, update, or delete their child’s profile at any time by contacting us at coach@strikeone.net.

If we become aware that data has been collected from a child under 13 without proper parental consent, we will promptly delete it.
4. How We Share Your Information
StrikeOne does not sell, rent, or trade personal information. We may share data only in the following limited circumstances:

With coaches and authorized team members within the same team context in the App

With parents or guardians to provide access to their child’s statistics

With service providers who assist in operating the App (e.g., cloud hosting), under strict confidentiality agreements

When required by law, court order, or to protect the safety of our users
Player statistics visible within the App are limited to members of the associated team and are not publicly accessible.
5. Data Security
We implement industry-standard safeguards to protect the data stored within StrikeOne:

Access to player data is restricted to authorized users within the relevant team

We regularly review our security practices to protect against unauthorized access, loss, or disclosure

6. Data Retention
We retain player profiles and game statistics for as long as a team account remains active. When an account is closed or a deletion request is submitted:

Player profiles will be removed from active display within 30 days of the request

Associated game statistics will be permanently deleted from our systems within 60 days

Aggregated, anonymized statistical data that cannot be linked to any individual may be retained for service improvement purposes
7. Your Rights and Choices
Parents, guardians, and account holders have the following rights with respect to their data:

Access: Request a copy of the personal data we hold related to your child or account

Correction: Request corrections to inaccurate or incomplete information

Deletion: Request permanent deletion of a player profile or account by emailing support@strikeone.net

Opt-Out: Opt out of non-essential communications at any time

8. Third-Party Services
The App may use third-party services to support its infrastructure, such as cloud storage or analytics providers. These third parties are contractually prohibited from using your data for any purpose other than providing services to StrikeOne. We do not integrate with third-party advertising networks.
9. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in the App or applicable law. When material changes are made, we will notify account holders via the App or email prior to the changes taking effect. Continued use of the App after notification constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
